John White Carpentry Winter League:
A great start to the league despite the mixed weather conditions with over 120 games being played during the first week. The Nire/Tourneena have started well and head the table with 398 pts, Dunhill have 397, Ballinacourty 386, Copper Coast 382, Abbeyside 379 and Dungarvan 365. These scores are will change many times during the league and it is always interesting to watch the changes from week to week.
10 Hole Ham Competitions:
From now to Christmas the 10 Hole competitions will be for hams. Entry fee is €3.
AGM
The AGM of the Gents Club will take place on Monday 4th November at 8 p.m.

Congratulations to Michael Lenihan who scored a Hole in One at the 8th hole over the weekend.

Our annual Xmas competition has now started and is running until the second/third week of December and for a mere €3 entry you may be gracing your table with a delicious ham!!
WINTER LEAGUES
Our Winter Leagues for both 10 and 18 Holes have now started and will run until the first week of March, weather permitting!! This year we have 52 ladies playing in the 10 Hole and 18 ladies playing the 18 Hole competitions, the club is delighted with such a huge response and the ladies are looking forward to playing both competitions. The weather has not been kind to us in the last week which hindered our great intentions of putting in some more rounds, hopefully next week will be better!!!!!!
South East Coastal Alliance
Our next outing of the Alliance is Thursday 7th November in the Gold Coast and will be over 16 holes, tee 10.00 – 12.00, weather permitting!! If you are new to the club this is a great way of playing other courses for a nominal fee of €10 per outing plus a yearly registration fee of €15. Hoping to see all our regular ladies on the course for the home game!!
Ladies Club AGM
Friday 8th Nov. @ 8pm we will be holding our AGM and we would like to see as many ladies as possible attend this very important meeting, as this is where all suggestions, new ideas and targets for the new golfing year are discussed and debated. A big thank you to the officers and committee of 2019, many of whom are staying on and welcome to the new members for 2020, wishing everybody the very best for the new season!!
