GOLD COASTERS
9 Hole Scramble Results
Angela O’Connor, Breda Conway, Patricia Doyle, Ellen Foley. 27 Well done ladies !!
We had a marvelous turnout again this week for the first scramble of the year which was enjoyed by all. We were delighted to have Angela back on the fairways today, and the break did her good as she played fabulous golf for her team!! As the scramble was so successful today, it has now been decided to hold one every month, next Thursday will be back to normal stableford.
The midweek golf has proved to be very advantageous in keeping the swing active and playing other competitions in conjunction with the competition of the day!! Many thanks to Anne for continuing to organise the event with presentation of the most wonderful prizes each week!!

MOORINGS WINTER LEAGUE WINNERS: LAHINCH
Congrats and well done to Lahinch (1484) on taking the trophy for the Winter league and to Ballybunion (1482) who put in a tremendous effort coming from the bottom of the leaderboard to runner- up position. Powerscourt who were holding their own in the lead position got toppled when last minute high scores came in from Lahinch and Ballybunion changing the team positions on a major scale. We had a 2 pt difference between 3 teams which had to go to countback to determine the eventual winners.
Additional prizes have been awarded to the best overall 10 & 18 hole players, Bridge Walsh and Elaine Nash respectively who played outstanding golf during the tournament!! Well done to the winning managers and teams and well done to all who put in a tremendous effort to make the league so enjoyable. Roll on next year!!

These will be used for practice and lessons for our Inter Club teams, many thanks to those who have added to the bucket. Much apprerciated!!
