The John White Carpentry Sponsored winter league is into the 15th week with a great entry again over the weekend. The Captains are encouraging their players on and the leaderboard is getting very tight as teams jostle for a qualifying position. MASS FOR DECEASED MEMBERS
Our annual Mass for deceased members of the club takes place in the hotel this Friday night the 9th of February at 7 30 pm. This is a night to remember our friends and family members who have departed this life. Light refreshments will be served after Mass.

WINTER RULES
Eighteen holes are in play, winter rules are in operation. Placing on both fairways and rough. We ask members and visitors alike to please observe the yellow markers around the greens and to repair pitch marks on them even if they are not your own to keep the greens in the condition the club is renowned for. Well done to our green keeping staff for maintaining the course in excellent condition.

SPRING LEAGUE
The league is in full swing with a lot of activity in the 10 hole league which is now gone into third round with some fabulous scores returned. We had a great turnout of ladies participating again this weekend due to the fine weather.

GOLD COASTERS
Our first game of the New Year took place on Thursday in beautiful balmy conditions which was perfect for golf. It was great to get back out on the fairways after the miserable conditions over the previous weeks. We had a nice turnout and everybody enjoyed getting back into the swing again. Thanks a mill to Anne for her organisational skills and the beautiful prizes!!
