CARE OF THE GREENS
It has become noticeable that pitch marks are not been repaired on the greens. To keep our greens in excellent condition we wish to make all golfers mindful both members and visitors alike to please repair all pitch marks. Even small pitch shots into the green can damage the surface. So, it’s essential that all players are diligent in their repair of pitch marks on our beautiful greens. A correctly repaired pitch mark will recover in 24 hours, a pitch mark that’s left unrepaired will take 3 weeks to heal. Our greens are cared for in a very special way which make them some of the best in the country so with that in mind please help us to keep them in good order. We are asking that maybe we could run the repair of the greens as we did for the winter league, please consult the Goldcoast Course WhatsApp page for more information. Congratulations to Waterford’s own Seamus Power on his achievements in the WGC Match play in Austin Texas. He has cemented his place in this years Augusta Masters with some great displays of golf over the last few days, well done to Seamus.

EASTER LAMB COMPETITION
This year our Lamb comp will be a 2 card competition and will run from 14th March to 10th April – 4 weeks only, this will replace our 10 Hole on-going for the duration. Entry and details are as 10 hole on-going, Enjoy!!
EASTER EGG SCRAMBLE
Our annual fun-filled Easter Scramble will take place from 1.30p.m. on Sunday 10th April, this is a fabulous day out and not to be missed, please remember to bring an Easter Egg or suitable gift of your choice, remember there will be a prize for everyone in the audience, so come along and enjoy the day!! The timesheet for the draw is live on our BRS system and also a draw sheet is posted in the downstairs kiosk, updates will be posted on our WhatsApp group.

GOLF LESSONS
Golf lessons with Colm Carew will begin shortly for beginners and improvers in group settings. If you are thinking of upgrading your game now is the chance as we are in the process of organising these events. Due to the inclemency of the weather the timeframe of the lessons has to be discussed and dates confirmed.
