LIONS CLUB CHRISTMAS APPEAL 2023
Our Christmas appeal kicks off next weekend. We have a beautiful addition to our appeal this year thanks to a very talented young man namely James Lynch who produced some lovely charity Christmas cards. When I say produced, I mean he did everything himself from start to finish. He took the photo last December of the ninth green covered in frost, designed the cards, arranged printing and packaged them to the high standard that are on display in the kiosk. We have to remember this young man is a fourth-year secondary student and has a bright future ahead of him. Well done again James and well done to parents Tom and Irene on all your support to this young man. The cards are now on sale in the golf club priced at €5 for a pack of 3 with all proceeds going to the Lions Club.
The Goldcoast Golf Club are delighted again to be associated with the Lions Club Christmas Appeal and our Lions Club week will run from Mon. 4th December to Sunday 10th December. All members will be encouraged to come along and play and contribute by entering competitions or buying raffle tickets. The club competition proceeds between these dates will kindly be donated to the appeal by the management and club.
Raffle Prizes include a Drinks Hamper, Christmas Hamper, Turkey, Ham and various other prizes. Tickets are on sale in the Kiosk, 1 strip for €2, 3 strips for €5. Your support will help raise much needed funds to help those less well off in our society. The Goldcoast members have always been generous in their support and we know this will continue again this year for this very worthy cause.
