Goldcoast Golf Club Notes 26th March 2023

The final of this year’s winter league takes place next Sunday 2nd April with the first tee off time at 10am. We wish both Nire/ Tourneena and An Rinn all the best in the final. Will it be two in row for An Rinn or will the men from the Nire/Tourneena turn the tables, that’s the question, watch this space. Presentation of Prizes will take place in the Dugout Bar after the Final.

Any updates in relation to above will be posted on the WhatsApp group. If you have any used or unwanted golf balls that you wish to dispose of, please drop them into bucket in ladies locker room. These will be used for practice and lessons for our Inter Club teams, many thanks to those who have added to the bucket. Much appreciated!!

Practice is underway for the upcoming mixed teams with Aisling taking our ladies on board and putting them through their paces. A big thank you to Aisling for taking on this task, but rest assured our ladies will certainly benefit from her input!!

Our Handicap secretary and committee met to discuss the input from the ladies in accordance to their handicaps. A review will be on-going throughout the year in relation to above decision.
