JIMMY BRUEN

All roads lead to Clonmel Golf Club next Saturday 30th July at 3pm when we take on Clonmel in the Munster Quarter final.  It’s a great achievement for our club to have advanced so far in this competition. The amount of work that goes on behind the scenes is huge from running trials to selecting the team and the subs, the hours that are put in are unreal. With that in mind we are hoping that a large number of members will travel to support the team to show appreciation for the hard work John White and Mattie Murray and their team have put in to reach the Quarter finals and represent the Gold Coast Club with pride.  Best of luck to all involved.

ON THE COURSE

A few members have contacted me regarding stray balls on the course with no shout been called. It’s most important to shout fore if your ball goes in the wrong direction than which you intended for everyone’s safety.

PRESIDENTS PRIZE

Our President Frank will host his Prize on the weekend of the 19th to 21st August 2022. Details in the coming weeks.
