ON THE COURSE
We are getting great feedback from visitors and members alike on the wonderful condition of the course. Well done to course Management and Green keeping staff on the excellent upkeep. Our regular Tuesday and Friday opens are very popular and offer great value. We look forward to welcoming many more to our lovely course.
MARKING OF SCORE CARDS
As a courtesy to officials checking scorecards in stable ford competitions, we would greatly appreciate if members and visitors would record their stable ford points opposite gross score on the scorecard. Please also ensure your computer input corresponds with your scorecard to prevent any inaccuracies, many thanks for your cooperation.
Our dress code for the Gold Coast is slacks and polo shirts. Please note sports jerseys, jeans and track suit bottoms are unacceptable on the golf course. Thank you for your adherence

We had a nice turnout again on Thursday 20th for our weekly 10 hole event. Everyone was delighted when our organiser Anne pronounced herself the worthy winner this week, well done Anne who is only back to golf after her long recovery from her injuries.
All members new and longstanding are welcome to join us, and there is no handicap limit. We play a 9/10 Hole singles each week with the exception of a monthly scramble which is proving very popular with everyone!!
Many thanks to Anne for continuing to organise the event with presentation of the most wonderful prizes each week!!

MUNSTER EAST AIG JUNIOR CUP

CARE OF GREENS AND BUNKERS
We would like to ask our players to please repair pitch marks on the greens, even if they are not your own!! Also please rake bunkers, now that they are back in play.
Our Handicap secretary and committee are meeting on a regular basis to discuss the input from the ladies in accordance to their handicaps. A review will be on-going throughout the year in relation to above decision.
MARKING OF CARDS
Golf Ireland guidelines have stated that all 3 handicaps must be recorded on cards for competition and casual rounds for handicap purposes. To avoid disqualification you must record your h/cap index, playing h/cap and most importantly the course h/cap, all of these are available on the Golf Ireland app and also on screen when you log in for competitions. It is also important not to enter a zero for stableford competitions as it interferes with standard scratch, if you blank a hole just record the shots as the computer will adjust accordingly. All scores must be recorded by the marker and signed in agreement with the player before being returned no later than 30mins after you finish your round.
NEW MEMBER DEALS
Ladies, if you had ever thought of taking up golf, now is the time to do it, our Lady Captain Rosie and any committee member would be delighted to take out potential members and showcase our beautiful course
and unrivalled scenery!! There are great deals on offer for new members and beginners including tuition, please contact our Director of Golf Irene or Brian in the kiosk on 058 44055 for more information.
