JOHN WHITE CARPENTRY WINTER LEAGUE
The John White Carpentry sponsored league final fell victim to the inclement weather we endured over the weekend when we were hit by storms making the course unfit for play. Subsequently the Winter League final was rescheduled to Sunday next the 27th February with the first tee off time at 9am. All team Captains are asked to have the team line up in to the kiosk 20 mins before tee times. Players are asked to be ready to go 15 mins before their time. Best of luck to Kilrossanty and an Rinn B in the final, nice to see a new team going on the list of winners of the winter league. Presentation to the winners and runners-up will take place after the meal in the Dug-Out Bar in the Gold Coast Hotel. Best of luck to all taking part in the final.

MARKING OF CARDS
Golf Ireland guidelines have stated that all 3 handicaps must be recorded on cards for competition and casual rounds for handicap purposes. To avoid disqualification you must record your h/cap index, playing h/cap and most importantly the course h/cap, all of these are available on the Golf Ireland app and also on screen when you log in for competitions. It is also important not to enter a zero for stableford competitions as it interferes with standard scratch, if you blank a hole just record the shots as the computer will adjust accordingly. All scores must be recorded by the marker and signed in agreement with the player before being returned no later than 30mins after you finish your round.

There are great deals on offer for new members and beginners including tuition, please contact our Director of Golf Irene or Brian in the kiosk on 058 44055 for more information.
