JOHN WHITE CARPENTRY WINTER LEAGUE
An update on the Winter League, which will again be sponsored by John White Carpentry, will be forthcoming when new government guidelines will be known. So far, there has been a great response to the new proposed format, and anybody who has not put their name forward please enter it in the kiosk as soon as possible.
GOLD COAST GOLFER OF THE YEAR 2020
Congratulations to Diarmuid Henley on winning the Golfer of the Year in the Gold Coast.
Diarmuid has played great golf all year and won with almost double the points of his nearest competitor.
GOLD COAST SINGLES MATCHPLAY
Congratulations to Michael White on winning the Gold Coast Singles Matchplay. Michael beat Diarmuid Henley in the final. Well done to both players.

Here at the Gold Coast Golf Club we have a fantastic Gents Full Member rate for new members of only €450 inclusive of GUI fees. We also have a very attractive Gents Senior (65+) rate for new members which is only €350 including GUI fees.
We have great facilities here at the Gold Coast, a top class golf course maintained in excellent condition, outstanding greens and 18 holes open all year round.
Members can relax in the comfortable surroundings of our hotel bar and restaurant where there is delicious food served daily. We can also offer very attractive packages for dual membership to both the golf club and leisure centre and gym.

SPECIAL MEMBERSHIP OFFER TO GAA PLAYERS UNDER 36 YEARS OLD
The Gold Coast has had a long association with the GAA down through the years and as most of you know they now have a full-sized playing pitch available in the resort. To continue with this association, the management of the Golf Club made a special price for membership of the Golf Club for players who currently play GAA and are under the age of thirty six.
On production of a valid GAA Club Membership Card, a player can now join the Gold Coast from now until 1st April 2021 for a once off payment of €250. This figure includes GUI and Club levies. This offer is available to members of all GAA Clubs in Waterford. Players under the age of 25 and in full time education can avail of Student Membership for €180.

WINTER LEAGUES 2020/21
Our winter leagues are due to start the first week of Nov assuming we are still in level 3 restrictions. The entry fee for the 10 Hole Winter League will be €10 registration and €3 per round for 10 rounds payable on first day of play, total €40 per team member. Please inform yourself of rules and conditions of play plus any updates in relation to impending leagues and Covid 19 announcements posted on our WhatsApp group!!!
Draw for 10 Hole league will be made shortly and will be posted on group for teams and captains of each group, please familiarise yourself of your team and fellow members. For those ladies intending to play the men’s winter League, please keep yourself informed by checking the Gold Coast WhatsApp group for regular updates.
