JOHN WHITE CARPENTRY WINTER LEAGUE 2022/23
John White Carpentry sponsored winter league has now reached final stage. Our semi-finals took place yesterday in very inclement weather but that didn’t stop some great games been played with both semi-finalists having to go to the 19th and 20th holes to get results in the end. An Rinn took the spoils against Dunhill and Nire/ Tourneena overcame Dungarvan. So the line up for the final which takes place on Sunday 2nd April 2023, tee times to be arranged in coming weeks, is An Rinn v Nire/Tourneena. We wish the Captains and their teams all the best in the final. We want to thanks all the Captains and their teams for making the winter league such a huge success for 2023 and a special word of thanks to John White for his sponsorship of the league.
ON THE COURSE
Nice to see work continuing on the course with the new tee box being put in on the 12th and the extending of the 17th tee box. Please remember to repair all divots on the fairways and all pitch marks on the greens to keep the course in the top shape that we are known for.
MARKING OF CARDS
Players need to be aware that you can’t for any reason mark your own card while playing your round of golf. You must give your card to your playing partner who will mark your card and you will mark his/hers until round is complete. Only then will you get your card back to enter the computer.
DRESS CODE
Our dress code for the Gold Coast is slacks and polo shirts. Please note sports jerseys, jeans and track suit bottoms are unacceptable on the golf course. Thank you for your adherence.
