CARE FOR THE GREENS
To keep our greens in excellent condition we wish to make golfers mindful to please repair all pitch marks. Also,
golfers, please check if you are leaving excessive footprints on the greens. If so, please refrain from wearing types of golf shoes that leave big indentations as it’s unfair on golfers playing after you. Thank you for your cooperation.

JOHN WHITE CARPENTRY WINTER LEAGUE
Thanks to our Captain, John White, for so generously sponsoring the Winter League again this year. And so, the Winter League games section ends for this season. What a tight affair it has proved to be and so exciting to see things so close at the end. After 15 weeks the standings of the teams are as follows.
1st Copper Coast 459.4 points, 2nd Abbeyside 452.5 points 3rd Nire / Tourneena 452.4 points 4th Dunhill 451.1 points 5th Ballinacourty 447.5 points 6th Dungarvan 436.81 points. Fair play to Copper Coast who were better than Abbeyside by 6.9 points. 2nd, 3rd and fourth places were divided by 0.1 and 1.3 points respectively. So, all very close. What it means is Dunhill will now play Ballinacourty in the quarter final next Sunday Feb 16th to see who qualifies for the semi-finals with the top three teams. Well done to everyone who played in the league.
