CONDOLENCES
It is with heartfelt regret we record the passing of Fr. Jerry Condon P.P. Stradbally which occurred last week. Fr Jerry was a member of the Goldcoast Golf Club since 1999 but he was more than a member, he was a friend to everyone at the Club. He had his regular fourball each week with his great friends Fr. Connie Kelleher RIP, Tom Kirwan RIP, and Mosh Morrisey RIP. For many years he celebrated our annual mass for the deceased members of the Club. His passing will leave a huge void in the club. We offer our condolences to the Condon and Phelan Families and all his friends. Rest easy now Fr. Jerry RIP.
LIONS CLUB CHRISTMAS APPEAL
Thank you to everyone who has supported the Lions Club Appeal by entering competitions, buying Christmas cards and raffle tickets, the support received is greatly appreciated.
Just a reminder the raffle ticket sales will continue until Sunday 17th December and the draw will take place then… if you are not in, you can’t win!! CONDOLENCES
On behalf of the Ladies Club, I wish to convey our heartfelt condolences to the Condon families at home and away on the sad passing of Fr. Jerry.
He was a wonderful character who was full of fun, laughter and mischief. He will be fondly remembered for the lovely Masses he celebrated in the Goldcoast, on the course with his great friends Fr.Connie, Tom and Mosh with their flasks of tea and sandwiches.
They are all together now, having a catch-up and remembering the good times, and we will fondly remember them as The Last of the Summer Wine!!
May they all Rest In Peace.
