Gold Coast Golf Club Notes 10th September 2018:

Congratulations:

Congratulations to Ger Bagge and Ann Marie Power on the occasion of their wedding, which took place last Friday in Clonea Power.

Welcome:

Next week the Gold Coast will welcome a new Secretary/Manager to Ballinacourty. On behalf of all here I would like to wish her the very best in her new position here in the Gold Coast, I hope that she enjoys her time here as much as I have done over a long number of years. I know that the members will make her welcome and give her all the support that she needs in her new position.

Blue Day a success:

The third biggest entry of the season took to the course on Sunday last for the inaugural Blue Day, a day to remember all those who had played golf with us down thru the years and have now passed on to their eternal rewards. Only the Captain’s Prize and President’s Prize had bigger entries. The winner on the day was Michael Lenihan who shot a great round of 69.
