CARTON CUP
Our ladies took on East Cork in the first leg of the matchplay in beautiful sunny conditions on their home territory. Our ladies played their very best on the day but had to succumb to a much stronger Cork side.
The next leg of the matchplay will be in the Gold Coast on Sunday 18th May and it all hinges on that game. Wishing our team and managers the very best of luck and support would be appreciated on the day!!
LADIES OPEN EVENING
We had a great response to our Open Event with the ladies in awe of the spectacular scenery out by the Lighthouse. The weather conditions were perfect in showcasing the course with the sun beaming across the fairways against the backdrop of the clear blue ocean.
After playing a few holes with the ladies and ferrying them around the course in buggies, the end result was very positive. We hope they will take advantage of our facilities and we would be delighted to welcome them on board as new members.
GOLD COASTERS
A group of our ladies took to the fairways on Thursday in glorious sunshine and the results reflected the returned scores. As per usual, Anne had secured some beautiful prizes and Rena and Deirdre went home very happy!!
CONDOLENCES
Lady Captain Elaine and members would like to convey their deepest sympathy to Mary and Captain Brian Dunbar on the recent passing of Mary’s brother Paudie.
Thinking of you all and keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. May Paudie Rest In Peace.
