PRESIDENTS WEEKEND
Our President’s weekend for Mary and Roy is fast approaching. Qualifying rounds take place on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd, with a shotgun start for qualifiers on Sunday 24th August. Booking sheets will be live from 3pm on Saturday 9th August . The week kicks off with the President’s scramble on Wednesday 20th August. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
MICHAEL CASHMAN TROPHY
Best of luck to the Michael Cashman team who are playing against Williamstown in round 3 this Saturday 9th August at home in the Goldcoast Golf Club. First tee off time is 2.15pm. All support would be greatly appreciated.
CONDOLENCES
Our Condolences go to the Conroy family on the sudden passing of Jim Conroy which occurred during the week. Jim was a member and a great friend of all here at the Goldcoast. He really was one of life’s true gentlemen and will be sorely missed on the fairways. May God have mercy on his gentle soul.
ON THE COURSE
Please remember the Three R’s: Rake Bunkers – Always rake the bunker after use, leaving it as you would hope to find it. Replace Divots – Replace and firmly press down any divots taken. Repair Pitch Marks – Repair your own pitch marks (and any others you see) on the greens to help keep surfaces smooth and true. Your cooperation helps maintain the course in excellent condition for everyone, thank you.

CAR PARK RELINING
Our car park has undergone a revamp with fresh lining of parking spaces and the cutting back of overhanging trees. Well done to all involved in the project.
HOLE IN ONE
Congratulations to Jim Quinn on his Hole in One at the 14th last Tuesday. This marks the second time Jim has aced this hole in recent years – clearly a favourite of his! Well done once again on a great achievement.
