€2,000 RAISED FOR LIONS CLUB CHRISTMAS APPEAL
Gold Coast Golf Club were delighted to present a cheque for €2,000 to the Lions Club. The funds raised will support the Lions Club’s ongoing work within the local community where they provide vital assistance to individuals and families in need. The club would like to sincerely thank our sponsors who contributed and our members for supporting competitions and buying raffle tickets, all ensuring the fundraiser was such a success. The generosity shown reflects the strong community spirit that exists within Gold Coast Golf Club.

DONNCHADH DUNNE ELECTRICAL W.E.S. WINTER LEAGUE 2025/2026
Thanks to everyone for making a great effort in our Gents Winter League. Qualifying rounds continue until 22nd February 2026. Each competition is played over 18 holes, with a daily competition fee of €8 for the first 10 rounds entered and €5 for all subsequent rounds. Players can play on any day and as often as they wish during the qualifying period. To give your team the best chance of success, each player is encouraged to complete at least 10 rounds. Thank you to everyone for taking care to record points and totals correctly on scorecards and the computer — it enables us to process cards quickly and helps keep the league running smoothly.
A quick reminder also to please enter all your Winter League scores on the computer and place your physical scorecards in the box even if a round didn’t go to plan or won’t count towards your top ten. This helps us keep accurate records and process cards efficiently.

LIONS CLUB CHRISTMAS APPEAL
Our annual Lions Club Hamper Appeal raised a magnificent €2,000 for this very worthy cause again this year.
As always, we thank our sponsors for their very generous support while the Gold Coast members have always been extremely generous over the years and this year was no exception.
We were delighted to have two of our ladies in the winning enclosure, well done to our Lady Captain Bridge who was the recipient of a beautiful hamper and to Aine Campbell who went home with a ham for the Xmas dinner. Congratulations to you both!!

GOLD COASTERS
Our group are taking some time off golf over the Festive season but will be meeting up in the New Year to discuss our calendar of events for 2026. Thanks a mill Anne for everything you do for our group, it is very much appreciated.
