MIXED FOURSOMES
Our Mixed Foursomes team managed by Doc and Rosie took on Clonmel in the Goldcoast last Thursday evening. The team delivered a great performance with two pairings securing wins to bring it to a play off. Unfortunately though it wasn’t to be our day and Clonmel edged the win on the 19th hole. Commiserations to the team and management and well done on a spirited campaign. We wish Clonmel the very best of luck in the next round.

Rake Bunkers – Always rake the bunker after use, leaving it as you would hope to find it.
Replace Divots – Replace and firmly press down any divots taken.
Repair Pitch Marks – Repair your own pitch marks (and any others you see) on the greens to help keep surfaces smooth and true.

GOLD COASTERS TO NEW ROSS
We had another fabulous outing with our group, this time heading to New Ross GC last Tuesday. On arrival we had tea/coffee and delicious warm scones from the oven, a welcome treat before we hit the fairways!
We played a scramble, which was great fun and enjoyed by everybody. We were very lucky weather wise, no rain but a little overcast and warm – perfect for golf.
After the game we sat down to a delicious meal served by fantastic staff, it was a lovely day out with our golfing friends. Thanks a mill again to Anne, we really appreciate the input and effort in organising our days away!

JUNIOR CUP
Our Junior Cup team took on Tipperary in their home course on Sat under the management of Anne K and Breda V. Our girls played the best golf that they could, but were no match for the Tipp side. We are very proud of their fantastic performance on the day and well done to all! Wishing Tipperary the very best of luck in their next leg of the tournament.

MIXED FOURSOMES
Our Mixed Foursomes team under the management of Doc and Rosie took on Clonmel on Thursday at home. Our pairings played outstanding golf on the day with 2 pairings home and dry early on the back 9. It went to a playoff and a very lucky putt clinched it for Clonmel on the 19th hole.
Our team and managers are to be commended for their valiant effort so far and the magnificent golf being played by all pairings. Commiserations and well done to you all!! Wishing Clonmel the very best in their next match.
