PRESIDENTS WEEKEND 2025
Our Presidents weekend got off to a roaring start on Wednesday evening when Roy and Mary held their Scramble in brilliant sunshine with some great scoring recorded. Full details of winners next week. Thanks to Goldcoast Hotel for suppling the ingredients and the Barbeque too & Micheal Wall for the beautiful burgers and sausages, Martin Morris, John White and Brian Fahey for preparing the scorecards and to every one that helped in any way to make the evening the success it was.

DEIRDRE WINS LADY PRESIDENT’S PRIZE
The sun shone brightly for our Lady President Mary’s weekend with a magnificent entry of ladies. The scoring was quite high on Friday with a smattering of 40’s, not to be outdone we had another 2 on Sat, so it was all to play for on Sunday.
Sunday proved a different day with a brisk breeze but beautiful sunny conditions. While the scoring was good amongst the leaders, it was not good enough to win the main prize. However Deirdre played superb golf with a 42 first day and a 40 on second day to claim the trophy!!
Presentation of prizes took place to a packed function room with our President Mary welcoming everybody and speaking so fondly of her family, friends and members. Her prizes were stunning and the winner received a beautiful Thompson painting of the Gold Coast.
Congratulations to Deirdre and all the winners of Mary’s prizes, also heartiest congrats to the winners of Royco’s prizes and thanks for a wonderful weekend!!
