SUMMER MIXED SCRAMBLE
Our second mixed summer scramble took place last Friday. On a glorious night a wonderful time was had by all. The results were as follows 1st Mary Dunbar/Luke Hennessey/Brian Dunbar. 2nd Colin Glasswell/Marie Murphy/Eileen Good. 3rd Tony Moore/Claire Ryan/Brendan Fitzgerald. Our final summer mixed scramble takes place in September.
MICHAEL CASHMAN TROPHY
Well done to the Michael Cashman team who beat Waterford Castle 4 matches to 1 in the Gold Coast last Thursday. This team is now into the 3rd round where they are at home to Williamstown on Saturday August 9th teeing off at 2.15pm.

Rake Bunkers – Always rake the bunker after use, leaving it as you would hope to find it.
Replace Divots – Replace and firmly press down any divots taken.
Repair Pitch Marks – Repair your own pitch marks (and any others you see) on the greens to help keep surfaces smooth and true.

Our second fun scramble took place on Friday with a nice turnout of members in perfect golfing conditions. This is an event that is fully organised and sponsored by the men’s club which is much appreciated by the ladies!!
After the 10 hole scramble presentation took place in the hotel. Congrats to the winners of wine and golf balls which were the prizes on the night. Thanks to our Captain Brian and Mary for a wonderful night of golf and great company, next one will be in Sept.
