Important Reminder that the entry fee of €25 must be paid before your scores can be counted towards the league table. Please sort this before you tee off.
There are nine teams of thirteen players representing Abbeyside, An Rinn, Ballinacourty, Dungarvan, Dunhill, Nire/Touraneena, Stradbally, Western Allies and the Northern Alliance.

END OF YEAR GATHERING AND PRIZEGIVING NIGHT
Captains Elaine and Brian and Presidents Mary and Roy are delighted to announce a friendly social gathering for all members at the Gold Coast Hotel on Saturday 22nd November at 6.00pm.
It will be a great opportunity for us to meet up off the golf course, catch up, and reminisce about the year gone by. We will also be announcing and presenting the year-end competition winners.
The event is free, and finger food will be provided – so save the date in your calendars!

WINTER RULES
Effective from Sunday 19th October, winter rules are in operation.
• Lift, Clean & Place on fairways and roughs (within 6 inches, not nearer the hole).
• All bunkers are G.U.R.
• Local Rule re. Abnormal Ground Conditions.
ON THE COURSE
Please be mindful of your pace of play and keep up with the group ahead to ensure an enjoyable round for everyone. Remember the Three R’s: Rake Bunkers – Always rake the bunker after use, leaving it as you would hope to find it. Replace Divots – Replace and firmly press down any divots taken. Repair Pitch Marks – Repair your own pitch marks (and any others you see) on the greens to help keep surfaces smooth and true. Your cooperation helps maintain the course in excellent condition for all. Thank you.

GOLD COASTERS
This week, we had a nice turnout in overcast but calm conditions. Great scores were returned and we welcomed a new member to the group who featured in the prizes!! The event ran very smoothly under the direction of Margaret in Anne’s absence and her prizes were fabulous.
This week we also had a raffle with a prize kindly sponsored by Deirdre which was won by Margaret. Well done to the winners and thanks to Margaret and Deirdre for their help and sponsoring the prizes.
WINTER LEAGUE
The winter league teams are now posted on our What’sApp group and in the kiosk and the start date is Sat 25th Oct. Please make yourself aware of your team Captain, members and the terms and conditions of the tournament. All team members are required to play 5 rounds and the entry fee of €20 is payable on first day of play with date, name, team and 10/18 H clearly marked on envelope. Good luck to all and enjoy!!
HAM COMPETITION
Our 10 Hole Ham competition begins on Sat 25th Oct with the usual entry fee of €3, details and entry sheets in kiosk.
END OF YEAR PRESENTATION
Our Captains Brian and Elaine with our Presidents Roy and Mary are delighted to announce our end of year gathering which takes place on Sat 22 Nov @ 6pm. Presentation of end of year prizes will take place plus finger food will be provided.
All are welcome and we would like to see as many as possible to support our club officers and have a catch up with members and friends.

Our Ladies Club AGM takes place on Sun 16 Nov @ 4pm. We would like to see a good representation at this very important meeting, as this is where you get the opportunity to air your views and suggestions for the coming year. Please note date!!
