JOHN McGRATH MEMORIAL DAY – Wednesday 9th July 2025
Our John McGrath Memorial Day took place on Wednesday 9th July in memory of our founder and owner, with all proceeds donated to the Palliative Care Unit at Dungarvan Community Hospital.
Twenty teams of four enjoyed 32 holes of golf across our spectacular course. Players were treated to a barbecue at the 12th, tea and delicious treats at the kiosk, and a sit-down meal at the hotel upon completion of both rounds. The day concluded with a prize presentation at the hotel.
A sincere thank you to all who made the day such a success. We’d like to thank the organising committee of Bob O’Brien, John White, Michael Wall, and Nicholas Power, our generous sponsors, Isobel Kirwan and the wonderful team of ladies for their hospitality and looking after us so well. We’d like to thank the McGrath family for all their support, our greenkeeping staff, the Hotel team, the Kiosk staff and all the players and everyone else who contributed in any way. Your efforts and generosity are greatly appreciated.
