DONNCHADH DUNNE ELECTRICAL W.E.S. WINTER LEAGUE 2025/2026
Thanks to everyone for making a great effort in our Gents Winter League. Qualifying rounds continue until 22nd February 2026. Each competition is played over 18 holes, with a daily competition fee of €8 for the first 10 rounds entered and €5 for all subsequent rounds. Players can play on any day and as often as they wish during the qualifying period. To give your team the best chance of success, each player is encouraged to complete at least 10 rounds. Thank you to everyone for taking care to record points and totals correctly on scorecards and the computer — it enables us to process cards quickly and helps keep the league running smoothly.
A quick reminder also to please enter all your Winter League scores on the computer and place your physical scorecards in the box even if a round didn’t go to plan or won’t count towards your top ten. This helps us keep accurate records and process cards efficiently.

MASS FOR DECEASED MEMBERS
Our annual mass for deceased members takes place on Friday 23rd January at 7pm in the Gold Coast Hotel. Refreshments will be served afterwards. All are welcome as we remember our departed members.

WINTER LEAGUE
The winter league is now finished and the final results have been collated with a very surprising finish between the winners and runners up. The team who led the way all through the league with fabulous scores and dedication to the cause came into second place. The winners who were in third position after last count came in on top, proving that you never know the outcome of a league until the final whistle!!
Congratulations to the captain Mary Fennell and members of La Cala in winning this league and to our Lady Captain Bridge Walsh and her team Las Americas coming into second place, well done on a great effort!! Thanks to everyone who contributed and put in a tremendous effort along with their team captains in making the league such a success!!

SPRING LEAGUE
As our winter league is ended, the date is already set for the start of our spring league. The league will be starting on Sat 17th Jan with the terms and conditions of same. The list for names is now posted in the kiosk and names have to be added before Wednesday.
This year there will be a mix of stableford and matchplay for those interested, shots will be given for the matchplay games. Please read the terms and conditions before play!! Good luck to everyone!!
